It's the job interview from hell! From all over the country, some of the best of Ireland's up-and-coming drag performers have fought it out for the Dragiators title.
In Dragiators The Apprentice, they converged on Waterford, the epicentre of a booming LGBT scene in the South East of Ireland. 10 candidates hungry for success were shortlisted. Only 1 was hired.
Dragiators The Apprentice took the concept offline and to the stage for the first time and Divalicious walked away with €500 and a chance to become an integral part of Dignity's entertainment team having impressed entertainment manager Charmin Eletrik and advisors Cher Guevara and Joanna Ryde, as well as existing members of the entertainment team Roxxi Sparks and Leanne Murphy.
Each week, the contenders took to the stage in group and solo challenges with someone from the losing team hearing the dreaded words "YOU'RE FIRED". The winner of each challenge received the Wand Of Immunity.
As creator of Dragiators, Joanna acted as fairy dragmother to the contenders, offering advise throughout the week. Contenders also had to attend a weekly group masterclass.
